Man Utd prepared to agree £51.4million fee for signing – Report

 If reports in the media are anything to go by then Manchester United are interested in hiring the services of Martin Zubimendi from Real Sociedad.

The Spanish international, who made his debut for the La Roja last year, signed a new contract with the La Liga side until 2027 and it contains a release clause of £51.4million.

As per a recent story covered by AS (via SW), Man Utd are prepared to agree the £51.4million fee to sign the midfielder.

The Madrid-based news source have mentioned that Barcelona are also looking to sign the player and Sociedad are hoping to hold on to their prized asset.

However, Los Txuri-Urdin will not be able to do anything if the player’s 60 million euros release clause is activated.

The 23-year-old starlet is mainly a defensive midfielder. He has already made over 100 appearances for the Spanish side and in 2019-20, he was a key member of the squad that won the Copa Del Rey.

As far as the current campaign is concerned, so far, the young play breaker has made 14 appearances in the league, scored a goal and provided a couple of assists.
